About me

Twenty years in health and wellness taught me that where you live shapes how you live. Today I help you find your "blue zone", and an asset worth owning.

I'm a pharmacist. I spent 20 years running my family's health and wellness business, living in Lisbon and Madrid before settling in Dubai. Today I advise international buyers and investors considering off-plan and wellness-led residences in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

My blue zone is the place where the things that give me fulfilment, energy and joy are close enough to enjoy every week: a good pool, a green park to walk and run, the sea and also a gym. They give me the drive to take on the challenges of each day. In health, I always look for a personalised approach, and real estate is no different: what works for one client may not work for another. The work begins before any project brochure, with you, the decision, the location and the evidence.

For me, lifestyle and investment are one decision. Light, noise, access, outdoor space and the quality of operations shape what it's like to live in a building, and they also shape tenant demand, retention and resale value.

That's why I connect those conditions to the commercial fundamentals: entry price, payment terms, future supply, service costs, developer delivery and the real depth of the exit market.

My pharmacy training and IIN health-coaching certification help me read wellness claims critically. They sit behind the method; property expertise is what I'm here to deliver.

How I evaluate a property

Wellness is not a feature list. It is a way of testing the whole purchase.

A six-dimensional framework keeps wellness connected to what really matters during a buying process.

Physical

01

Exercise, Prevention and healthcare, nutrition, mobility and safety.

In practice: I check walkability, fitness infrastructure, nature access, measurable air and water quality, shade and ease of movement.

Mental & spiritual

02

Rest, sleep, beauty, nature connection and reduced daily friction.

In practice: I check daylight orientation, acoustic design, bedroom conditions, biophilic elements and how the plan supports recovery.

Social

03

Places that support connection without compromising privacy.

In practice: I check usable shared outdoor space, gathering areas, noise control and walkable links to neighbourhood life.

Financial & economic

04

The full cost, opportunity and resilience of the purchase.

In practice: I examine pricing, service charges, payment risk, realistic rental demand, competing supply and resale depth.

Environmental

05

Climate response, building systems, resource use and biodiversity.

In practice: I look for credible certifications, climate-adapted design, durable materials, energy choices and water and waste systems.

Civic & community

06

Public realm, culture, inclusion, services and contribution to place.

In practice: I assess public-space access, local services, governance and whether the development strengthens its wider context.

Framework adapted from the six pillars used by the Global Wellness Institute’s Wellness Communities & Real Estate Initiative: physical, mental, social, environmental, economic and civic wellbeing. The application to an individual property is my advisory interpretation, not formal GWI research.
